On the way home from a birthday party Saturday night I was lucky enough to witness this conversation amongst two 6 year olds, one 5 year old, and a 3 year old. Jonas, Jordan, Drew, and Will made tears of laughter come to my eyes. They are SO cute!
Jonas: Auntie Gina, Will has his toy hanging out of the window!
Me: Will, pull your toy back into the car. You are going to lose it!
Will: Forever Mommy?
Me: Yes, forever.
Drew: Mommy, will his toy go to heaven if he drops it and loses it forever?
Jordan: No Drew, only people go to heaven.
Jonas: People and cats go to heaven Jordan!
Jordan: No, people go to heaven and cats go to kitty heaven. Kitty heaven is a big tree that they can sit in.
Drew: No, cats go to heaven with people and they are floating above the clouds up in the sky!
They get up there in an elevator. I saw it on Tom and Jerry. I know.
Jordan: No they don't Drew! They don't get there in an elevator. It is called an escalator.
