Snow Day

We had a week in January where school was cancelled for 4 days! The snow on the first day was so powdery and beautiful. The boys had a great time sledding and playing in it. That night it turned into a layer of ice, rained ice, and the temp dropped. The following days were not so fun. We experienced about 37 hours without power and the scare of limbs snapping and breaking all around us because of the extreme ice on the limbs. The one good thing the storm brought was quality family time. We enjoyed our time playing cards, playing games, and being all cuddled together on the couch in front of the fire.
